About the Role - Lead with a Global Brand
As Bar Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone, you’ll oversee a vibrant, multi-outlet operation including:
* A sleek, newly revitalised hotel bar offering premium cocktails and craft drinks
* An all-day dining restaurant with a focus on locally sourced Irish cuisine
* A large-scale function and events venue - The Marine Suite
* A seasonal outdoor deck and riverside terrace, part of our signature Marine Club

Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead bar operations across the hotel bar, terrace, and Marine Suite events bar
* Manage bar-based food service in the lounge and outdoor spaces
* Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing hospitality team
* Deliver exceptional guest service, driving quality and consistency
* Implement seasonal menus, activations, and local promotions to grow sales
* Monitor compliance, licensing, and safety standards
* Collaborate with culinary and events teams for seamless service
* Manage rotas, cost control, and stock/inventory processes
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Previous experience as Bar Manager or Assistant Manager in hotel bars, gastro pubs, or event venues
* Strong leadership and staff development skills
* Creative understanding of bar trends, mixology, and guest experience design
* Confident managing high-volume service across multiple outlets
* Familiar with EPOS, rota systems, and inventory control
* Excellent communicator with calm, hands-on management style
* Ready and excited to relocate to Ireland and grow with an international brand
