We wish to recruit a Paralegal into our growing Real Estate Practice in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role presents significant opportunities for training, growth and development in a busy team which supports across a range of commercial Real Estate work types including asset management, (Landlord and Occupier), investment, real estate finance and other project support. As a client facing Paralegal you will proactively manage your own allocated transactions as well as complete activities across a wide range of work types (either as individual tasks or as part of a broader project). Typical tasks would include: Drafting legal documents and standard forms Liaising with clients and third parties in respect of transactions, where appropriate Reviewing and reporting on documents as part of due diligence exercise Preparation of LBTT submissions Reviewing title documentation and dealing with title queries Land Registration applications Companies House filings Managing electronic data sites including uploading and ordering documentation Providing pre and post completion support on transactional work areas Legal research We are keen to hear from individuals who share our values of teamwork and client focus. You will have a strong motivation to join our Real Estate practice team, with at least one year of experience of the above work types, and the ability to work from our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to plan and manage your own case load as well as assist Partners, Directors and other colleagues on larger/complex projects.
