Our Client is a is a fast-growing UK rail consultancy business, and they currently have a new opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join their team in Birmingham.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
•To provide sound commercial advice and support to Clients
•To fully support the Senior Commercial Manager
•Assist with monthly valuations and recommendations for payment
•Assess and value Variations/Compensation Events
•Commercially manage packages of work within the main contract
•Produce Contract Value Reports for Head of Commercial and relevant project stakeholders
•Assist with agreement of Final Accounts
•Contractual Correspondence
•Undertake site measurements
•Attendance at project and site meetings
•Prepare and present commercial updates and reports at internal and external meetings
•Contribute to QCRA (Risk) process
•Provide early warning of commercial problems and issues to company and the Client Team
Some of the main duties include:
•Supporting Bid Manager
•Putting Tenders together
•Providing Estimates
•Pricing works
