In this role, we're looking for an experienced and proactive individual to take the lead in overseeing all maintenance activities across the estate, our maintenance and pool team work across the week to ensure our guests have the best time with us at Hesdin.
You'll be responsible for spotting and responding to the needs of our guests and team, resolving issues promptly, and working closely with other staff. This includes training, supervising, and supporting the Maintenance & Pool team, as well as coordinating with external contractors like electricians and plumbers to get the job done right.
As part of your role & key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* This role needs a hands-on, proactive leader who can manage daily tasks, adapt quickly, and tackle problems as priorities change
* If you love fixing things, tackling all kinds of repairs across our estate, and solving problems all with a can do attitude this could be just right for you.
* As Maintenance Lead, you'll keep everything running smoothly across our properties, pools, and grounds. You'll organise tasks, rotas, and safety checks for your team, whilst supporting and keeping things ticking along in our busy, year-round estate, over a 7 day a week.
* You'll keep our supplies stocked and ready, and team up with specialists for trickier jobs like plumbing or electrical tasks when needed.
* You'll keep everyone safe by running regular checks, inspections, risk assessments, and fire drills—making sure our estate stays smooth and stress-free for all.
* You'll use our online tools like Asana to keep maintenance tasks on track—weekly, monthly, or yearly. Don't worry if you're new to it, we'll show you the ropes
* You'll team up with management to spot challenges early and find smart solutions, keeping the estate in top shape.
The Ideal person should meet the following:
* Must have UK driving licence
* Comfortable using IT and app-based platforms
* Experience in risk assessments and Health & safety
* Understanding of planned preventative maintenance regimes.
* Friendly, reliable, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
* Experience is great, but attitude is everything.
* Someone who loves ticking things off a list and seeing instant results.
* Able to work independently but also laugh through a shift with the team
16.50 per hour
