Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and learning difficulties? We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team in Taunton.
💼 About the Role As an LSA, you’ll play a key role in supporting children and young people to reach their full potential — both academically and personally. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-to-one or small group support for students with SEN or additional learning needs
Helping to adapt learning materials and activities to suit individual needs
Supporting students’ social and emotional development
Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Assisting with classroom routines and learning activities🌱 What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and develop through ongoing training
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people🎓 What We Offer
