Key Duties
Deliver high-quality first-opinion veterinary care to small animal patients Manage a varied caseload of consultations, diagnostics, medical cases, and routine surgery Work across multiple practice sites as required Undertake branch-based sole charge duties on designated days Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional standards of care Collaborate with experienced veterinary, nursing, and support teams Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
Working Pattern
38 hours per week Flexible working options available 1 in 3 Saturday mornings Two days per week branch-based work with some sole charge responsibilities Multi-site role across the practice group

Well-established independent veterinary group with three sites Team of 7 veterinary surgeons Supported by 4 RVNs, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 4 Animal Care Assistants Large and loyal client base built over more than 30 years Interesting and varied caseload with a notable number of exotic patients Supportive and collaborative working culture Commitment to ongoing clinical development and investment in the team
Key Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK RCVS registered Minimum 5 years' experience in small animal practice preferred Confident working both independently and within a team Comfortable with occasional sole charge responsibilities Strong communication and client care skills Interest in continued professional development Adaptable and willing to work across multiple sites
