All deployable personnel must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Duties and Role Assists Core Section Head with the development of technical solutions for all maritime afloat tasking, development of troubleshooting SOPs, and technical refresh/upgrade of all system hardware; Assisting with the planning and coordination of ship surveys prior to scheduled CIS installation; Assist with the System Administration (SA) of HW and SW of assigned systems; Ensures all technical and service oriented documentation pertaining to assigned systems, interconnections, supporting cable plant etc. is prepared, properly stored and kept up-to-date; Ensures Configuration Control data is reported to Core Section Head in a timely manner; Involved in providing remote support of Flagship handovers for those nations involved in the Standing Naval Forces (SNF's). Maintains a close liaison with other technicians and engineers within the CSU and the wider NCI Agency. Requirements NATO Secret security clearance Knowledge and experience in VMware Virtualisation technology. Knowledge of SAN technology. Knowledge and experience in Windows workstation imaging techniques. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Server Technologies; Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange. Knowledge and experience in Application Server technologies Knowledge of ITIL IT service management model; Knowledge of Incident and Problem Management processes and experience in this area; Ability to write technical documentation and user guides; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
