We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing a team, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
* Train and develop bar staff, fostering a positive team environment
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area
* Create innovative drink menus and oversee food production for bar snacks or light meals
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction
* Maintain records of sales, expenses, and staff performance
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant environment
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
* Familiarity with hospitality best practices and customer service excellence
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices in the hospitality industry
* Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
