Planner – United Living Group

United Living Group is a collection of four businesses dedicated to creating a connected, sustainable future:

* United Living New Homes: Providing build‑to‑rent and affordable housing solutions to address community housing challenges.
* UL Connected: Connecting people through fixed‑line and mobile infrastructure, enabling seamless communication in today's digital age.


Responsibilities

* Craft an efficient schedule for the execution by the teams on all jobs.
* Access employee hours spent on projects and create reports on efficiency.
* Work with staff from different departments to collaborate and coordinate.
* Assist in implementing maintenance planning and scheduling processes and develop process improvements.
* Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provide timely reports.
* Provide input to management and suggest improvements for efficiency.
* Develop a daily schedule to secure adequate resources to complete all jobs.
* Ensure all works orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished.


Requirements

* The ability to self‑motivate and work within a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
* Demonstrated customer focus with an ability to resolve complex issues with an eye for detail
* Ability to understand the importance of priority of work tasks
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to create sketches
* Confidence in using computer packages and familiarity with planning tools
* Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
* I.T literate particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
* Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills
* Team player, but also comfortable working alone
* Understands the need for respect, sensitivity and discretion in a public facing role
* Some flexibility of working hours may be required
* Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and calm under pressure
