Key Responsibilities
* Carry out inspection of fire dampers in accordance with current legislation and safety standards
* Install access doors into ventilation systems to enable proper inspection and maintenance access
* Undertake installation and repair of passive fire stopping in line with legal requirements
* Conduct installation and repair of fire dampers, including any required ductwork modifications, in compliance with relevant regulations
* Maintain personal equipment and ensure stock inventories of materials are kept up to date
* Produce and submit accurate written reports as required
* Ensure comprehensive and accurate record-keeping of all work undertaken
* Effective and timely delivery of all assigned tasks to a high professional standard
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent client service and interpersonal skills

* Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Confident decision-making and basic negotiation skills
* Good literacy skills, including the ability to understand and follow technical manuals
* Clear and professional verbal and listening communication

* A recognised qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential

* Maintenance and improvement of the company's professional image and customer satisfaction
* Achievement of KPIs as set by the department and company
* Providing a prompt and professional response to incidents or accidents on-site
Location: Nationwide from home base (Colchester)
Salary: £30,000 OTE

* Regular overnight stays are a part of the role and will be fully covered, including accommodation and meals
* Some auditing work may be conducted outside of standard working hours, including occasional night shifts
