Supply Network Quality Inspector
Job Summary
This position is responsible for verifying that high-quality parts, materials and sub-assemblies are received within our busy operations facility to help ensure that production build targets are met and customer delivery deadlines achieved. Supporting the Operations team, the main purpose of this role is to execute effective processes to verify the compliance of parts, materials, sub-assemblies, fabricated assemblies.
In addition, this role will assist in verifying that Avtron manufactured finished product is compliant to customer requirements.
Essential Functions
Work with the Quality team and the Supply Network Quality Technician in particular, to establish robust and effective processes for compliance verification of parts, materials, sub-assemblies, fabricated assemblies, product assemblies and finished product.
* Carrying out routine and first article inspection of critical parts
* Timely reaction and reporting of non-conformances
* Working with team members to achieve timely and effective corrective actions
* Provide support to the Operations team in verification activities
* Support Practical Problem-Solving activities, where appropriate
* Actively support the business with a right first-time culture
Job holder’s competencies
* Able to accurately apply documented quality requirements
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation e.g. drawings, work instructions, standard operating procedures
* Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Education and Experience
* 3+ years of related experience is desirable
