Are you passionate about the performing arts and dedicated to inspiring the next generation? We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic After School Club Performing Arts Teacher to join our team
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons in acting, singing, and dancing to children aged 5-12 years.
* Devise and implement fun and innovative lesson plans tailored to each school's unique environment and needs.
* Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity, self-expression, and collaboration among students.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their potential.
* Prepare students for performances, fostering a sense of teamwork and confidence.
* Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and management regarding student progress and club activities.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development to continuously enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in performing arts, with a focus on acting, singing, and dancing.
* Proven experience teaching children aged 5-12 years for at least 2 years, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
* Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for travel between schools.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
* A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to providing a fun and enriching environment for children.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in choreography or directing performances.
* First Aid certification and Safeguarding training.
