Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of a Facilities Manager for a brand-new plant build.

This is a unique opportunity to join a business at the very start of its journey. As Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing site facilities processes, ensuring legal compliance, and creating a safe, efficient, and sustainable working environment.

You’ll have the scope to develop and implement SOPs, lead facilities projects, and be instrumental in shaping the standards, policies, and culture of a state-of-the-art site.

Key Responsibilities

*

Oversee all aspects of facilities management across a brand-new site.

*

Develop and implement SOPs, policies, and procedures for building and site facilities.

*

Ensure the site is fully compliant with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.

*

Manage building systems including HVAC, utilities, security, waste, and energy.

*

Lead facilities projects such as office fit-outs, equipment installation, and site services.

*

Manage budgets, contracts, and external service providers.

*

Develop a robust planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule for site facilities.

*

Ensure site services (cleaning, catering, security, grounds maintenance) run efficiently.

*

Lead on sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.

*

Support senior leadership in shaping the facilities function as the business grows.

Essential:

*

Previous experience in a Facilities Manager (or senior FM role) within an industrial/manufacturing or large-scale site.

*

Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and statutory building compliance.

*

Proven experience managing service contracts, budgets, and suppliers.

*

Ability to develop SOPs, policies, and facilities procedures.

*

Strong organisational and leadership skills.

*

IT literate, with experience in facilities or asset management systems.

Desirable:

*

Experience in plant commissioning/start-up environments.

*

NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar HSE qualification.

*

Experience leading sustainability or energy efficiency initiatives.
