The Vacancy

OVERALL SUMMARY

Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance team, where you will oversee the team responsible for providing an efficient and effective service to our customers.

You will provide supervisory support to the Customer Relationship Specialist teams, ensuring key department objectives are met. Responsibilities include coaching and developing the team, and ensuring regular career conversations and personal development plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise and work with the team to ensure they can meet their objectives effectively.
2. Collaborate closely with Sales and Customers to streamline onboarding and agreement setup, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and providing real-time updates.
3. Support processing of new proposals, including AML checks, credit searches, linking exposures, and asset loading and verification.
4. Check and collate documentation promptly to meet customer needs and ensure compliance with legislation and credit approvals.
5. Prepare accurate payments to suppliers, brokers, and customers.
6. Ensure all internal checks and reviews are completed accurately per company procedures.
7. Load finance agreements onto platforms like Salesforce and Alfa, with a thorough understanding of each product.
8. Issue Welcome Packs to customers within agreed timescales, including all relevant documentation.
9. Process deposits and initial payments via the ALFA system.
10. Assist the Sales Team by engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to progress transactions.
11. Support customer calls, including managing call divert when sales staff are unavailable.
12. Handle enquiries via email or phone efficiently and promptly.
13. Process in-life requests such as settlement quotes, agreement settlements, reschedules, card payments, refunds, and account updates.
14. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, SLAs, and regulatory requirements, including governance and reporting obligations.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive work ethic and initiative
* Numeracy and analytical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments
* Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally
* Experience in providing excellent customer support

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
* Experience in the Financial Services Industry or similar operational/customer-facing roles
