The Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be covering the South East region which incorporates everything inside the M25 as well as the home counties. In this area are six Area Sales Managers who you will be leading, coaching, and managing on a daily basis. In this role the Regional Sales Manager and their team will be selling a market-leading array of below-ground solutions on a hire basis into Main Contractors & Civil Engineering businesses working on a host of construction & infrastructure projects. These products include trench shoring boxes, sheeting, extraction equipment, excavation bracing frames, and lightweight boxes.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for a region that has great growth potential, this is reflected in the bonus structure. The Area Sales Managers are well re-numerated and thus motivated. This role will see you have some key account responsibility (20% of your time) so there is still a big element of you selling as well as leading.
The Regional Sales Manager will have a superb back-office support function to help be successful. Our client have a fabulous in-house Design team who can turn quotes around quickly when they come in, a great marketing team, and Hire Controllers at each of their regional depots who can support on delivery of equipment when a sale is agreed. In addition, you will be supported by two depot’s in the North and East of London with market-leading equipment, excellent availability, and the ability to install where your competition does not!

Our client are a market-leader in their field and they boast the largest stock-holding of product in the UK than any of their competitors, in addition to a dedicated installation team who operate nationally separating them from the rest of the market. They are a business who are investing heavily in their induction, on-boarding, and ongoing training processes and do a lot to push internal promotions where possible.
Requirements
* Field sales experience within the construction sector – ideally from temporary works
* Have a track record with new business and account management
* Field sales leadership experience & track record is a huge advantage
* Have sold a technical, or design led, construction solution in below-ground applications
* Full & Clean Driving licence
* Are verse in selling direct to end users at site level e.g. Contractors
Salary
£60,000 Basic Salary + OTE year 1 is £10 – 15k, Company Car (Hybrid options), 25 days plus stat, pension 10% with a 5% contribution, healthcare, PMI
