Salary:
* Unqualified: Base salary of £24,604.58, earning up to £32,348.58 with sleep-in shifts.
* Qualified: Base salary of £27,107.08, earning up to £34,851.08 with sleep-in shifts (full diploma Level 4).
Location: Bournemouth
Hours: Shift pattern on rotation

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our vibrant team in Bournemouth. Here, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized care packages tailored to the unique needs of each child and young adult. Our supportive and collaborative team is committed to recognizing and valuing you as an individual. All staff receive training in 'Developmental Trauma' and therapeutic parenting, equipping you to provide the best support possible.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
* Support children and young people, understanding the challenges they face in care.
* Be flexible with your availability, working 7 x 24-hour shifts (including sleep-ins) on a 3-week rotation.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young people.
* Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with the children.
* Collaborate effectively as part of a team, accepting guidance and direction.
* Encourage the development of individual interests and skills of our young people.
* Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
* Possess a full UK driving license and a car for travel purposes.
* Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
* Show a willingness to learn and grow.
* Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which we will cover.
* Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus!
