About the role
* Supporting Pharmacists and healthcare professionals in the supply of medicines and accuracy checking to ensure safe and efficient pharmaceutical services.
* Working with primary and secondary care health professionals to improve community health.
* Overseeing and inspiring the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.
* Supporting training of support team members, trainee technicians, and trainee pharmacists.

Responsibilities include:
* Ordering medicines, checking, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions.
* Performing final accuracy checks of dispensed items before supply.
* Overseeing Dispensing Team Members as directed by the Responsible Pharmacist.
* Preparing, supplying, and checking prescriptions, providing advice and support.
* Taking medicine histories from patients and advising on treatment options.
* Providing advice to patients and coaching others on medicines and when to refer complex queries to Pharmacists.
Requirements:
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC and recognized Accuracy Checking Qualification.
* Passion for patient and customer care.
* Ability to work efficiently to high standards.
* Experience overseeing dispensing teams and supporting healthcare professionals.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
* Comfort with digital tools and technology.
* Willingness to continue learning and developing skills.
* Interest in becoming an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician with Boots.
