Job Summary:
We seek a passionate designer with a love for science, education, and data visualization. Your experience and skills should enable you to create compelling designs, from typography to technical graphics, in a fast-paced agency setting.
Responsibilities:
* Create engaging graphics for medical education materials across digital and print channels, including scientific publications, presentations, and posters.
* Respond to creative briefs with effective solutions and deliver projects on schedule.
* Collaborate with creative, art, copywriting, and medical teams to translate client needs into design options.
* Participate in team discussions, provide input on design strategies, and suggest styles based on client goals and budgets.
* Present design concepts to senior staff for approval before client delivery.
* Design scientific figures, data visualizations, and other graphic elements as needed.
* Contribute to the development of innovative design concepts and layouts.
* Partner with team members to ensure high standards in creative work.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent.
* Experience in healthcare or communications environments.
* Experience designing graphics for scientific publications.
* Strong interest in science and scientific ideas.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
* Knowledge of integrating design into Microsoft PowerPoint.
