Responsibilities
* Utilize modern survey methods and devices such as total stations, GNSS, and data collectors.
* Set out for different trades in construction.
* Establish survey controls, set out gridlines, perform levelling, traversing, and other land surveying tasks.
* Resolve unexpected site issues with team and management support.
* Accurately record surveying data on site according to specifications.
* Process field data into the office, including post-processing with software like AutoCAD.
* Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
* Check the quality of data collected and ensure successful transition to deliverables.
* Maintain and properly store all survey equipment.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and prioritize workloads.
* Strong multitasking and adaptability skills to become a valuable team member.
* Experience in land surveying.
* Willingness to travel nationwide to various sites.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients on site.
* Full UK manual driving license.
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Desirables
* RICS/ICES qualification.
* UAV/Drone experience.
* Degree in a survey-related field.
* CSCS card (required before starting).
* N4CE software knowledge or experience.
* Laser scanning and BIM workflow experience.
* Monitoring experience.
