Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through engaging and imaginative activities. Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to help children reach developmental milestones. Encourage children’s personal, social, and emotional growth through consistent routines and positive reinforcement Assist in planning, observing, and recording pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Collaborate effectively with the class teacher, EYFS lead, SENCO, and parents/carers. Essential Criteria: Level 3 qualification in a relevant area (e.g., CACHE Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent). Previous experience working in an EYFS setting such as nursery, preschool, or Reception. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development. Positive, calm, and nurturing attitude. Effective communication and teamwork skills. An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Desirable: Experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with speech, language, and communication needs. Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practice within an EYFS setting.
