JOB TITLE: Customer Support
LOCATION(S): Consett. Working across our Lloyds and Halifax branches within a reasonable distance.
HOURS: 35 hours a week, including Saturdays
WORKING PATTERN: Full-time
SALARY: £26,200, increasing to £26,950 after 6 months
We operate a skill progression framework that offers potential pay increases and the path to earn £31,450 at the highest skill level.
About this role
Provide face‑to‑face support to customers, helping them with their financial needs and developing new skills under our Skill Progression Framework.
Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding service in branch customers.
* Build relationships quickly with customers for a fantastic experience.
* Show empathy, act with care and integrity, resolving queries and giving customers confidence.
* Collaborate with colleagues to meet customer needs.
* When located in a hybrid location, meet Homeworking criteria (quiet space, stable internet).
* Transition into other roles such as phone, remote, web‑chat, video or specialist areas after completing 12 months.
Qualifications
* A people‑person with honesty, genuine care and resilience (no previous financial services experience required).
* Ability to build relationships quickly and deliver a fantastic customer experience.
* Empathy and integrity; commitment to delivering on promises and going above and beyond.
* A genuine teammate collaborating closely with colleagues.
