Job Description New position, reporting to Head of Market Access, Immunology Objectives The Strategic Partnership Lead (SPL) serves to identify and create sustainable NHS partnerships to improve the efficiency and quality of the delivery of patient care. The SPL will work with all relevant cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to develop high impact collaborations aligned to key therapeutic area, NHS and health policy priorities, at scale. The SPL will problem solve and co-develop initiatives that unlock mutual value, enhance standards of care and support system transformation through external collaboration opportunities. The SPL will be therapeutic area aligned and will report into the Head of Access for the relevant area. Key responsibilities Serve as the company’s point of contact for strategic collaborations in relevant therapeutic area, establishing and managing relevant relationships with external stakeholders Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to assess challenges in current care pathways and identify potential opportunities for external partnership projects to improve efficiency and/or patient care Partner with key cross-functional partners to map critical external clinical, payer, and policy stakeholders Establish and maintain strategic partnership framework and ways of working that enable innovative collaboration with the NHS Lead cross functional teams to identify and shape eligible projects and lead the delivery of key objectives and milestones within projects Establish and implement robust project governance frameworks to: ensure projects are fully compliant with the ABPI Code and AbbVie policies define and measure project execution and performance against objectives ensure appropriate use of resource across projects enable cross-functional stakeholder and leadership alignment Identify high impact replicable project opportunities and develop a framework for scalability Maintain expert knowledge of NHS policy, processes and structure that are relevant to therapy area responsibility and advise internal stakeholders on relevant insights with the potential to impact partnership activity Acts as a thought leader across the business on industry-NHS partnerships with a broad knowledge of programs, solutions, policies and frameworks Active member of relevant Brand Teams within their assigned therapeutic area
