Role: Cleaner
Location: Aldermaston
Duration: 3 months initially (with likely extension or temp to perm)
Rate: Up to £15 per hour
Security Clearance: must be able to obtain security clearance
About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to work on a secure, high-profile defence site. This role is key to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness across controlled and non-controlled areas, in line with safety and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily cleaning tasks across offices, facilities, and controlled zones
* Ensure all cleaning complies with hygiene, safety, and security guidelines
* Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately
* Manage waste disposal following site procedures
* Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
* Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
Essential Requirements
* Prior cleaning experience (ideally within secure, industrial, or medical environments)
* Active SC Clearance or ability to pass security vetting
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations
* High attention to detail and professionalism
* Willingness to work in a regulated and secure environment
Additional Information
* Full training and PPE provided
* All applicants must pass pre-employment screening, including drugs and alcohol testing and medical assessment
