We are seeking an experienced B2B Business Development Manager to join our team at Broughton. Hours of work: 40 hrs per week, Monday – Friday, Hybrid (on-site minimum 2 days per week or as required).
Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities and lead sales activities to accelerate business development, win contracts, and capture market share.
* Retain and grow existing accounts, monitoring and maximizing customer relationship scores.
* Manage relationships with new clients to obtain ongoing business.
* Prepare and negotiate in-depth SOWs, proposals and tenders.
* Achieve targets for revenue generation and profitability.
* Collaborate with the wider company to identify opportunities and trends.
Qualifications
* A degree in a scientific or related field is preferred.
* 3+ years of proven experience in Business Development.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* A scientific background with knowledge of the nicotine or pharmaceutical markets is highly desirable.
* A full driver’s license is essential.
Benefits
* Salary: £43,000 - £64,000 per annum (OTE £73,500 uncapped).
* 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
* Option for a "Broughton Day"—a fixed day off every 2 or 3 weeks (terms apply).
