PLEASE NOTE: Start date for this role is October 27 with a 4-6 week training. Following completion of the training period, you will move onto a rolling shift rotation averaging 37hrs p/w with some evenings and weekends. Job Purpose As a Claims Trainer you will devise and deliver training in line with the Training Policy in an efficient and effective manner, to ensure the continual contribution to the firm’s quality of all services offered. Key Responsibilities Design, prepare, facilitate and/or review all areas of the training to meet the needs of the business, including amending all training documentation as and when required, in accordance with procedural updates, systems changes and legislative and regulatory guidelines. Keep up to date with developments with Hastings systems, practices and procedures. Support the business in providing quality and meaningful training data in line with Hastings Training Policy. Liaise with the Hastings Business Lead following the identification of any risk, training, or performance needs. Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and contribute positively to the team performance. Provide feedback reports on activities or risks identified to the Hastings Business Lead on a weekly/monthly basis, or as required. Complete all necessary pre training access requests for systems/e-learning/portals etc. Experience & Knowledge A strong awareness of insurance motor claims processes across own. Knowledge of Hastings systems including, but not exclusive to guidewire, portals, processes, and procedures. A high awareness of insurance protocol, including indemnity, liability, FCA and ICOBS8 customer service. Ability to prepare and deliver training in a confident, creative and professional manner. Ability to interpret information, identify risk and provide feedback in a clear and concise manner. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and flexibly to meet business and department deadlines. A recognized training qualification or a willingness to undertake progress towards a recognized and relevant qualification. A working knowledge of all Hastings processes including AD, TP and Case Handling. A knowledge of Hastings Guidewire system.
