Job Overview:As a waiter/waitress at The Smokehouse, you’ll be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Responsibilities:
* Greet and seat guests in a warm and friendly manner.
* Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
* Serve food and beverages to customers with attention to detail.
* Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations.
* Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and restroom facilities.
* Process payments and handle cash or card transactions.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a team-oriented environment.
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a waitstaff or customer service role is preferred but not required.
* A positive and friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Flexible, reliable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* An interest in food and drink, particularly in smoked meats, is a bonus.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
