Are you an editor who thrives on precision, clarity and the power of well-crafted content? Do you want to be part of a business that’s transforming how legal professionals access and apply information globally?

We’re looking for a Content Editor to join our Commercial Content team at a pivotal moment in our growth. As a technology-enabled information services provider, we deliver cutting‑edge intelligence, analytics and performance data to the international legal industry. Your role will be central to ensuring our commercial content is not only accurate and engaging, but also strategically aligned with the needs of legal professionals around the world.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of editorial craft and legal insight. You’ll edit and enhance contributions from subject‑matter experts, shape headlines that resonate and use smart tools – including Gen AI – to guide authors and elevate the substance of their work. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure our content is discoverable, usable and impactful across platforms.

If you’re a detail‑driven editor with a passion for language and a curiosity about international business law, this role offers the chance to grow your career in a fast‑paced, intellectually rich environment, where your work helps power decisions in boardrooms, courtrooms and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

* Copy‑edit our commercial content submissions in line with the style guide and in reference to the product guidelines.
* Reword technical text sensitively without altering the meaning and raise queries for authors where necessary; review author amends and progress contributions to approval and publication. Ensure intelligibility of EFL submissions.
* Use relevant resources, such as pre‑defined Gen AI prompts, to suggest substantive areas authors might cover.
* Write must‑read headlines and standfirsts for our commercial content.
* Implement the right tagging for each content piece and suggest improvements to taxonomy as appropriate.
* Create content to support the promotion of our substantive commercial content on our platforms or on external ones (eg, social media).
* Work closely with internal stakeholders (eg, coordinators, CS, online content, sales) to coordinate publication processes and ensure content is published to a high‑quality standard and on time.
* Improve content usability, for example by ensuring author‑supplied links are accurate and adding new relevant links.
* Review and correct online editions across the content set.
* Proofread across the content set.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent grammar
* Good comprehension and editing skills
* An ability to rewrite complicated text
* Good communication skills
* Good time‑management skills

The following would also be advantageous but not essential:

* Experience in publishing or information services
* Experience of using Gen AI
* Knowledge of the law
* Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
* Experience using a CMS
* Experience using work‑management tools
