Orchard House Residential Care Home is seeking a Care Assistant. We work together as a team to enrich residents’ lives, support colleagues, and have fun in the process. We provide the highest quality of personalised care in line with each resident’s individual care plan. Leisure and social activities are an important part of the day, and we aim to be kind and supportive to residents, their families, and our colleagues.

Responsibilities
* Work with the team to enrich residents’ lives and support colleagues while delivering high-quality care
* Provide personalised care in line with individual care plans
* Support leisure and social activities for residents
* Demonstrate kindness and respect to residents, their families, and colleagues
* Communicate effectively and maintain a flexible approach
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience is not essential; training and support will be provided
* Care, enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine care for older people are important
* Good communication and a flexible approach are essential
* A genuine kindness and respect for residents and their needs
* Working with the Home Office to prevent illegal working; enhanced DBS check required if appointed (paid for by Sanctuary Care)
