Job Description:
Be part of something big. We look at what is wrong with food to figure out how to make it the best it can be, without being bound by the way it has always been done. This innovative thinking has led Finnebrogue to multiple awards, nationwide acclaim, and has established us as a leading food producer. In 2024, we were recognized as the UK’s Employer of the Year by Grocer Gold and the Best Place to Work in Northern Ireland by the Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards. Our robust People Strategy offers career pathways and development opportunities for all employees, emphasizing talent growth and wellbeing with generous benefits. We are proud to be the first food producer in the UK and Ireland to achieve the Diversity Mark accreditation and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace. With four sites in Downpatrick, our business continues to grow rapidly, with turnover increasing from £50M to £200M in the past 6 years. Join us at Finnebrogue, where innovation meets excellence, and every team member is valued and empowered to grow.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking Project Manager to join our Business Systems team and lead various technology projects across our production sites—from ERP and MES rollouts to automation, traceability solutions, and smarter ways of working. You’ll work with teams from production, engineering, sustainability, and IT, translating our vision into project plans, managing delivery, and ensuring real-world impact.
The successful candidate will bring a wide range of experience and skills, combined with high attention to detail, enthusiasm, and curiosity.
* Leading the planning and delivery of digital and tech projects that improve our production capability and efficiency
* Working cross-functionally with internal teams and external tech partners
* Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources with precision
* Ensuring tech solutions meet food manufacturing standards, including traceability, compliance, and sustainability goals
* Helping us roll out new systems like ERP, MES, SCADA, and digital quality tools
* Reporting on progress, risks, and ROI to senior stakeholders
* Ensuring everyone involved understands the why and is set up for success during and after implementation
What it Takes
A minimum of 3 years experience managing tech or digital transformation projects.
Hours of Work
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours being 10 am to 4 pm.
Benefits
Working within state-of-the-art premises, you will enjoy a range of benefits including subsidized meals in our restaurant-standard canteen (free breakfast and lunch options), free onsite parking and electric charging points, weekly free product samples through our Shack Initiative, and a packed calendar of wellbeing, social, and sports events.
Additional perks include a Healthcare plan, cycle-to-work scheme, electric car scheme, and a birthday holiday. Our awards, including Irish News and Grocer Gold Employer of the Year, testify to our exciting culture and benefits. For a full job description, please select the link.
