Our clients are a well-established geotechnical, environmental, structural and design consultancy providing development services and solutions to aid both large and small developers in a wide variety of sectors including commercial, retail, residential (private individuals through to large PLC’s), education, healthcare, social housing, transport, and leisure and hospitality.\n\nTHEY NOW REQUIRE A Graduate Geologist or Engineering Geologist to work in Derbyshire\n\nDUTIES WILL INCLUDE (but not limited to):\n\n * The supervision and management of site investigations.\n\n * Necessary site attendance to undertake ground investigation and assessment.\n\n * Preparation of Health & Safety Documentation and assistance in the collation of all project related health and safety information\n\nQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:\n\n * Minimum qualification of a degree in one of the Earth Sciences.\n\n * Willingness to work outdoors, away from home and occasionally unsociable hours.\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\n * Strong interpersonal / team working skills.\n\n * Able to deal with and preferably enjoy the challenge of rapidly changing circumstances.\n\n * Experience of British soils and geology, the ability to log soil and rock to cu...
