Data Scientist –Leicester, Bexhill or London (Hybrid). Sponsorship is not available.
Responsibilities
* Develop best‑in‑class machine learning models to predict claims outcomes, fraud, and other risk KPIs.
* Collaborate with ML Engineers to deploy machine learning models.
* Monitor deployed models and link performance to commercial value KPIs.
* Present work and findings to operational and commercial stakeholders.
* Explore new technologies and contribute to the team’s best practices.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries for building and deploying solutions in cloud environments.
* Ability to think commercially and link ML model performance to commercial KPIs.
* Experience with SQL and structured query languages.
* Keen interest in emerging ML techniques and their commercial value.
* Strong communication skills across Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and commercial stakeholders.
