Our dedicated MASH Teamison the lookout for a dynamic Investigating Manager to join them!

TheAdult MASH(Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub)Teamoffers crucialsupporttoindividuals who are at riskof orhave experienced harm and have care and support needs. The teamworksclosely with a variety of services and virtual partner agencies, these include Children’s Services, Police, various health colleagues, CQC and Advocacy as well as a range of voluntary and provider services.

As an Investigating Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Section 42 enquires concerning adults at risk. This will includesetting actions, agreeing on minutes andmaintain oversight of the investigation from start to finish. For more complex investigations, involving care homes or hospital wardsyou will be required to take on the role of Investigating Officer.You will be responsible for monitoring the safeguarding process to ensure it is adequately completedand outcomes are actioned appropriately.

With a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in a social care setting, you shouldbe able todemonstrate extensive professional development sincequalifying.Holding adegree in Social Work alongsideSocial Work England registrationwill beessential.Our ideal candidate should possess substantialexperience of case work with adults in a communityhealth settingand leading safeguarding investigationsalongsideexpert knowledge of social care legislation and policies relating to thesafeguarding of adults at risk.

This position comes with a 7.5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
