About the Role
A child‑centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people, providing flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring to pupils and students, KS1‑KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
Responsibilities
* Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
* Deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring to pupils and students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
* Support teachers and students through the SEND Support Team to create a safe learning environment.
* Engage in Community and Company Events for knowledge sharing and resources.
* Utilise the referral programme to earn rewards for successful tutor referrals.
Qualifications & Experience
* 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma‑informed way.
* Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
* Enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and 2+ professional references.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
* Relevant experience in roles such as SENDCo, SLD/MLD Teacher, Autism/ADHD Support Teacher, Intervention Specialist / Teacher / Tutor, Ex‑Teacher, Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Teaching Assistant (TA), Educational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist (SALT), Educational Psychologist (EP), or Inclusion Coordinator.

Location & Compensation
North Shields, Tyne and Wear – £28‑£35 per hour (contract).
