Renewable Installations Manager
Full‑time | Up to £55,000 | Leadership Role | Progression options | South Wales
Unify HQ is supporting our client, a fast‑growing renewable installation provider, in hiring an experienced Technical Manager to lead their technical delivery across Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), ventilation and insulation programmes.
This is a senior role overseeing installation quality, technical standards, team leadership and compliance across multiple renewable technologies. You'll work closely with operations, guide engineers and installers, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead technical teams (electricians, heating engineers, roofers, apprentices)
* Set technical standards, processes and best practice
* Oversee Solar PV, ASHP and retrofit installation quality
* Ensure compliance with MCS, PAS2035 and electrical regulations
* Support complex technical issues during project delivery
* Oversee materials, logistics and installation readiness
* Drive health & safety across all installation teams
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in renewable, electrical or mechanical installations
* Experience leading technical or installation teams
* Solid understanding of Solar PV and heating systems
* Confident decision‑maker with strong organisational skills
Desirable
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical
* 18th Edition
* Solar PV installation experience
* Experience in social housing retrofit or large‑scale programmes
