We’re working with a national organisation championing the quality and impact of advice services across the UK. They’re looking for an experienced and values-led Project Director to lead on the delivery of major projects and strengthen quality assurance across the sector.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone passionate about access to justice, with the drive to influence national practice and lead strategically from within a small, mission-focused team.
💥 As Project Director, you will:
* Oversee the delivery and growth of national projects that support frontline advice services
* Lead and protect the integrity of a key sector-owned quality standard, working with licensing and accrediting bodies
* Manage project staff and contractors, ensuring effective governance and delivery
* Build strong relationships across funders, networks, and government frameworks
* Shape new funding opportunities, policy engagement, research activity, and sector innovation
* Represent the organisation externally, and step in for the Director when required
* Lead on internal communications, social media, and external content
* Support the development of the business plan and contribute to the overall strategy
💥 What we’re looking for:
* Strong track record in project management, stakeholder engagement, and service improvement
* Experience managing people or consultants and leading the delivery of key initiatives
* Excellent organisational and communication skills across written, digital, and in-person formats
* An understanding of the voluntary sector and/or access to advice issues is a strong advantage
* Alignment with the organisation’s values and mission, especially around equality and social justice
* Willingness to travel across the UK occasionally and attend monthly meetings in London
