Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Nurse Practitioners (NMC) to join our healthcare team in order to support a Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) in Corby. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct thorough assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
* Develop and implement patient management plans, including medication administration and follow-up care.
* Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures within the clinical setting.
Qualifications
* Valid NMC Registration
* Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) is desirable
* Postgraduate / Level 7 study
* Level 7 Minor Injury / Minor Illness
* Proven experience in patient care settings, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse patient populations effectively
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
