Overview
At Airedale, we are committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. We actively encourage applications irrespective of age, lived experience of disability or long-term conditions, gender, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or other personal circumstances. Increasing our diversity and supporting our organisation to be more inclusive is a key priority here at Airedale and our teams are at the centre of how we work towards this. We appreciate all people may have diverse and individual needs and we pride ourselves on supporting all people to thrive and flourish at work. We have frameworks in place that support reasonable adjustments and flexible working for colleagues throughout their working lives which starts at recruitment.
These are exciting times for Airedale. We have the once-in-a-career opportunity to be involved in the planning and building of a completely new hospital here on our Steeton site by 2030. By joining us now you'll be a key part of our journey over the next few years, with the chance to input into a state-of-the-art, modern healthcare facility that will deliver care to our communities for decades to come. We are also on the journey to a new electronic patient record, part of our wider ambition for our digital future - a future that builds on our significant telemedicine and digital care success. Ultimately, what makes Airedale special is our people. Not just our staff, but our volunteers, patients, visitors, and wider population who make up the Airedale family. This is a Trust that sits at the heart of our community, and our communities are very proud of their Trust. Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is a highly successful integrated acute and community Trust, with a workforce of approximately 3300 staff and 300 volunteers, serving a population of over 200,000 people across West and North Yorkshire as well as East Lancashire. The Trust has a turnover of over £260 million and is part of the Bradford, District and Craven Health and Care Partnership.
Are you ready to lead a digital revolution that transforms patient care and powers the future of our Trust?
We're seeking an inspiring CDIO to drive a bold, organisation-wide digital and data strategy. One that supports our New Hospital Programme and strengthens services across Bradford, District and Craven Place.
In this pivotal role, you will:
Build a modern, shared digital and data infrastructure
Shape and deliver a transformation roadmap aligned to our Trust strategy
Champion innovative technologies, intelligent automation and AI
Embed digital solutions that improve patient outcomes and staff experience
Lead high-performing digital and data teams, deeply connected across the Trust
Strengthen interoperability and ensure robust, trusted data security
Influence at Board level as a non-voting member
Connect people, priorities and possibilities across diverse teams and partners
You will be the driving force behind a digitally enabled, evidence led future. Unlocking insights, simplifying work, and empowering colleagues to deliver truly person centred care.
If you're a collaborative leader who can unite stakeholders, inspire change and bring cutting edge digital transformation to life… we want to hear from you.
Lead the change. Shape the future. Transform care.
