Federal Project Manager
Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
Disclaimer: The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full-time at a location other than a POWER-designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.
POWER Engineers, member of WSP's Government Services Business Unit is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The qualified candidate will lead or support project management of both large project and mid-sized, multidiscipline engineering projects concurrently where a branch of the Department of Defense is the client. In particular, the project manager can be expected to engage consistently with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Navy Facilities Command (NAVFAC). Responsibilities include:
1. Project management of projects where the DOD is the ultimate client, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
2. Team management and participation projects managed by a joint venture (JV)
3. Management of project change orders and contract modifications
4. Project Proposal and budget development
5. Management of subcontractors, including effective leadership, team communication, and performance management
6. Adherence to corporate and client safety requirements, expectations, and procedures
7. The candidate will be responsible for business development, developing proposals, and making presentations as required to win new work
Required Education/Experience:
8. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
9. Minimum of 7 years of directly related project management experience
10. Demonstrated experience managing USACE or NAVFAC projects
11. Demonstrated fluency with UFCs, EM385-1-1 safety requirements, SpecsIntact, Projnet/DRChecks and MII; and management of CUI materials
12. Demonstrated experience successfully managing projects consisting of multiple technical disciplines (e.g. architectural, structural, electrical, geotechnical, etc.) and multiple subcontractors.
13. Demonstrated experience writing, developing, and producing technical reports of high quality and accuracy
14. Proven ability to estimate, scope, schedule, and budget projects and keep projects on track in all these areas post-award
15. Strong interpersonal, managerial, and team leadership skills
16. Licensed Engineer (PE) or PMP
17. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
18. Excellent communication skills and team player

Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
