Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per year

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to support machining, production, and new product introduction activities within a precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Support daily operations meetings and take ownership of Manufacturing Engineering issues
* Create and control manufacturing documentation including SOPs, set-up packs and work instructions
* Support NPDI activities including cost estimates, manufacturing routes and customer approvals
* Ensure tooling and fixturing is available to support safe and efficient production
* Create and validate CNC programs to meet quality and cycle time requirements
* Support LEAN and continuous improvement activities across EHS, Quality, Cost and Delivery
* Apply structured problem-solving methods to improve process and quality capability
* Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
* Experience within an Aerospace production environment
* HND or higher in Electronic Engineering or similar
* Strong knowledge of CNC machining techniques
* Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
* CAD / CAM experience (SolidWorks / CAM preferred)
* Competent in Microsoft Office
* Able to work independently and use own initiative
