Role Overview
Working within the Central and Fife and Borders district team, reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will support the delivery of projects and programmes valued at approximately £3m annually.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure activities comply with safety, regulatory, and license obligations.
* Deliver district business plan outputs, optimizing returns through incentive mechanisms.
* Engage with customers and stakeholders to support communication activities.
* Develop project plans to minimize outages and meet performance targets such as Customer Minutes Lost, Customer Interruptions, Customer Satisfaction, Standards, Time to Connect, and other incentive mechanisms.
* Analyze outputs and feedback for continuous improvement.
* Apply sound engineering principles to asset stewardship and ownership values.
* Promote safety behaviors and ensure compliance with safety legislation.
* Deliver maintenance, reliability, system performance, and network security objectives.
* Manage connections and capital investment projects to optimize profitability.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in project/programme coordination or customer service roles.
* Knowledge of regulatory environment and incentive mechanisms.
* Awareness of contracts, commercial, and regulatory aspects, balancing customer service and project delivery for maximum ROI.
* Strong stakeholder and customer engagement skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage priorities and develop solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
* Crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ, or equivalent experience in electricity network construction and operations.
* Relevant operational experience in network construction and operation.
* Technical or engineering experience (preferred but not essential).
* Operational authorization and knowledge of standards up to 33kV (preferred but not essential).
* Computer literacy.
