Fleet Services are looking to appoint a Passenger Services Assistant to support the Passenger Services Co‑ordinator with the day‑to‑day operation and supervision of the Passenger Services Section, ensuring a high standard of service delivery to internal Council clients.
The post holder will maintain effective systems for monitoring and recording information to support service provision. This includes monitoring the performance and use of vehicles, plant and equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance with health and safety legislation.
The successful candidate will have the ability to meet operational targets, check the accuracy and quality of their own work, and follow set procedures and guidelines. They will assist in the planning, monitoring and controlling of resources including staff, equipment and materials.
A willingness and ability to carry out work practices to specific standards in accordance with Councils policies and procedures the post holder must be able to react to changes based on service needs or instructions from senior staff.
The role also involves assisting in the development and monitoring of effective systems for vehicle costs and carrying out random checks. The post holder will liaise effectively with internal colleagues and service users in accordance with Council policy and procedures.
