Do you thrive at the intersection of brand strategy, category insight, and commercial delivery?
Are you skilled at turning shopper & consumer data (Nielsen / IRI / Kantar) into strategic actions that influence range, merchandising, and promotional plans with retailers?
Do you want a role where you can own brands end-to-end — shaping their future while seeing the commercial impact of your decisions in store?
We’re partnering with a global FMCG manufacturer to appoint a Category Brand Manager — a hybrid role combining classic brand management with full category responsibility. You’ll drive growth across two household brands by connecting insight, innovation, and activation, working closely with marketing, NPD, sales, and retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and execute annual brand plans to deliver category growth, penetration and sales uplift
* Lead day‑to‑day brand activation: campaigns, creative, media, digital, social & PR
* Manage the full end‑to‑end NPD pipeline — insight, concept testing, business case, launch & post‑evaluation
* Leverage Nielsen / IRI / Kantar to identify drivers of category growth and shape commercial strategy
* Influence UK retailers through compelling category stories, range recommendations & merchandising proposals
* Partner with sales to create best‑in‑class sell‑in material and promotional plans
* Track brand and category performance across KPIs, recommending data‑backed optimisation
* Act as the voice of the consumer across the business — grounding decisions in insight and commercial reality
What We’re Looking For
* FMCG experience is essential — ideally from food or drink manufacturing
* Strong experience in brand management and/or category management
* Confident user of Nielsen / IRI / Kantar with a data‑driven mindset
* Proven ability to build relationships with major retailers
* Commercially sharp — comfortable with P&L levers and commercial evaluation
* Collaborative, proactive, resilient — a doer who likes to take ownership and drive results
Why This Role
* Autonomy & ownership — shape the future of two market‑leading brands
* Opportunity to see your ideas land on shelf
* Hybrid working + competitive salary & benefits
Salary - £50k + Benefits
