Join Our Commercial Team as a Commercial Assistant.
We’re looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our Commercial team in the Eastern region and play a key role in keeping our projects organised, accurate and moving forward.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the region, supporting day‑to‑day commercial activity and helping ensure everything adds up.
What you’ll be doing
* Producing timely reports to support the commercial team during month-end reporting
* Assisting with variation pricing and change control processes
* Working with other functions to provide information for periodic KPI reporting
* Supporting project teams to ensure timely payments to the supply chain by processing Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and payment certificates
* Supporting cash flow reporting and cost-to-complete forecasting
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date commercial records
About you
* Interested in construction and civils, with a good awareness of how commercial teams support projects
* Comfortable using Excel and IT systems; experience with COINS would be an advantage, but isn’t essential
* Eager to learn, develop and build a long-term career within the commercial function.
* A understanding of construction contracts and measurement would be helpful, or a willingness to learn and develop these skills.
