We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for a permanent position based with our client Sheffield.
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Salary circa £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
This will be working Monday to Thursday 8:00am ill 4:30pm and 8:00am till 3:30pm on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to technical enquiries with solutions using standard products, adaptations, and bespoke items.
* Reviewing Architects and Engineers Drawings, bills of quantities, and other documentation received from customers to identify the products they require, liaising with them and their design team as necessary to clarify details and / or request information.
* Carrying out designs to determine correct products and sizes. Communicating any details, mark ups and assumptions to the customer and liaising with the Sales Team to produce a quotation.
* Identifying opportunities for new products and the improvement of existing products to reduce costs, improve, or meet new requirements.
Candidate requirements:
* Requires good understanding of UK construction methods and common details, particularly suited to those with experience in construction products and detailing.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude are of paramount importance to this customer service role.
* There may be a need for site visits or accompanying a member of the sales team to site meetings.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
* HNC or equivalent qualification in an Engineering or building/construction related subject.
* Worked within a construction related design environment.
* Able to understand Engineering/Technical Drawings.
* Problem solving/Organised/Methodical/AutoCAD. xxuwjjq
