Business Development Manager
£35,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Car/Car Allowance
The Company
My client is a highly successful and well-established Welding Supplies business selling various Industrial Engineering and Welding Supplies, as well as Services across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the wider South East.
Currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager within the Northern Home Counties.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:
* Selling Industrial Engineering and Welding Supplies into the Engineering, Fabrication, and Steelwork sectors
* 50% of your role will be focussed on New Business Development and 50% on Account Management
* You will be responsible for fully developing the existing customer accounts and prospecting for new business within the area, with particular attention being paid to Independent Business.
* Working closely with the Head of Sales to drive sales
* Full P&L responsibility for the accounts which come under your remit
* Hitting your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the team’s goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability
The Candidate
* You MUST have experience selling Industrial Engineering, Welding Supplies & Services into the Engineering, Fabrication, and Steelwork marketplace.
* You will be looking to move forward to a new challenge and not running away from something.
* You will be a natural HUNTER – a strong Business Development Manager.
* All candidates must have a genuine passion for the industry
* You will be based in Bedfordshire .
