We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Field Service Engineer for our Onboard Weighing Division, based in Doncaster and Gainsborough area. Given the nature of the work there will also be elements of working from home depending on the schedule.
Responsibilities:
1. Fit and install our weighing systems when workload dictates it
2. Provide customer service and technical help over the phone
3. Provide advice and training on the use of our weighing equipment
4. Provide technical support by telephone, e-mail or on site with customers
5. To attend and participate in Engineers meetings
6. Producing reports and other documents as deemed necessary
7. Attend and cover any callouts placed by customers to repair their systems
8. Cover other Engineers' areas to support with cover during absence as needed
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:
9. UK driving licence
10. Experience in vehicle mechanics
11. Basic computer skills
12. Experience and knowledge of how vehicle weighing systems operate
13. High levels of communication and customer service skills
14. Ability to solve problems and use initiative
15. Happy to work autonomously
16. Engineering background is advantageous, but not essential
