Position Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous Economics instruction to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will play an integral role in developing students' understanding of economic principles, theories, and their real-world applications, preparing them for further study and future success. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement innovative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to a range of learning styles. Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, analysis, and debate. Assess student progress through a variety of methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues within the Social Sciences department to enrich the curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Economics or a closely related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at the secondary level. A strong grasp of economic concepts and their relevance to contemporary issues.
