Brief Description: Step into a high-impact Senior HR Business Partner role at the heart of Eastern Routes Capital Programmes, where you\'ll shape business transformation and partner with senior leaders to deliver excellent people outcomes and help deliver projects. You\'ll use your HR expertise and change leadership skills to influence strategy, drive high-performance cultures, and support complex programmes across major renewals and enhancements. Key Accountabilities
* Working closely with the supported business area/s to develop, drive and implement the HR Strategy/People Plan including talent, succession planning and change management to support business objectives and drive a high-performance culture.
* Act as an integral member of the business leadership team, building strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders. Coach, advise and challenge thinking; contribute to co-development, design and execution of integrated medium to long-term people initiatives to meet current and future business needs.
* Act as a change agent; lead and support change programmes, driving and championing HR solutions within the business area, gaining stakeholder acceptance.
* Proactively manage trade union relationships, working with Employee Relations, HR Business Partners and managers across the business.
* Reinforce ownership of people management by the business and line managers and the HR Business Partner model.
* Influence the development of strategy and policy through sharing business/functional requirements and inputting into planning.
* Collaborate with Centres of Expertise, HR Shared Services, HR Direct and HR Business Partner teams to proactively identify and influence changes that improve HR service.
* Liaise with HR Business Partners in other areas to work on cross-business/geographical issues.
Essential
* Strong business/commercial understanding and alignment with business needs.
* Experience partnering with senior leaders to improve people management.

* Knowledge and experience implementing best-practice HR solutions to drive a high-performance culture.

* Excellent technical HR knowledge – CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
* Proven track record in a complex operating environment.
* Broad experience managing organisation change programmes (e.g., TUPE, organisational redesign, redundancy programmes).
* Graduate calibre; experience in a highly unionised environment (Essential for roles supporting Maintenance & Operations Functions).

* MCIPD/post-graduate HR qualification.
* Understanding of project management principles and experience managing complex projects to successful conclusions.

Benefits
Salary: £55,596 to £65,966 per annum. Other benefits include a 75% discount on leisure travel, season ticket subsidies, pension options, annual leave, and a bonus scheme. Some roles may require face-to-face drugs & alcohol testing as part of the offer process.
