Role Overview
Harmonic, a UK-based Series A Clean Tech scale-up, is seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to support their rapid growth and global expansion. The company is VC-backed and dedicated to building technology that advances the transition to Net Zero. Having moved from R&D to commercial deployment, they are now preparing for their Series B raise.
Responsibilities
1. Lead procurement processes for capital equipment and component packages.
2. Negotiate supplier terms and develop commercial agreements.
3. Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery.
4. Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Product, Project Management, and Finance teams.
5. Maintain accurate supplier records and conduct due diligence.
6. Support the development of scalable procurement processes for international growth.
7. Build and nurture supplier relationships.
8. Bring 3+ years of procurement experience in process-based industries, such as engineering or manufacturing.
9. Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
10. Experience in hardware or technical product supply chains.
11. Adaptability to fast-paced, scale-up environments.
12. Comfort working with engineering and technical teams.
Preferred (Non-Essential) Experience
1. Background in Energy, Renewables, Electrochemistry, Oil & Gas, or Water Treatment.
2. STEM degree.
3. Experience supporting due diligence and supplier audits.
Location & Start Date
East London / Hybrid (minimum 2 days in the office). Up to 8 weeks’ notice; immediate availability preferred.
