Care Home Manager – HC-One

Key responsibilities
In this role you will take responsibility for the well‑being of our residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. You will lead, motivate and mentor your team and deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home. You will carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident. You will monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation. Generally you will promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
Leadership & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced care home manager. You will have either a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or be willing to study for one. You will have leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conduct risk assessments. You will communicate with residents and co‑workers with consideration and kindness.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect. Attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role and undertake additional training in associated areas. Seek appropriate advice, report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
